Shooting incident in Clondalkin, Dublin on the 9/6/11 - Appeal

As part of the investigation into the murder of a 53yrs old male at Shancastle Avenue, Clondalkin on the 9th June 2011 Gardai are appealing to members of the public who may have seen or have information in relation to a silver Nissan Qashqai partial registration 10 D which was found burnt out at Steeples Estate off St. Laurences Road, Chapelizod.

This car had been stolen in Dublin in recent days.
 
A Post mortem is scheduled for this afternoon at Blanchardstown Hospital.

Gardai in Ronanstown investigating a shooting incident which occurred at a house at approx. 4.05am on the 9th June 2011 at Shancastle Ave, Clondalkin Dublin 22, will hold a Press briefing today the 9th June 2011 at 11.30am in Ronanstown Garda station.

Gardai in Ronanstown are investigating a shooting incident which occurred at a house at approx. 4.05am on the 9th June 2011 at Shancastle Avenue, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.

A male (53yrs) received serious injuries in the shooting he was transferred to James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown where he was later pronounced dead.  A number of family members were in the house at the time of the incident. No one else was injured in the incident.  The culprits fled the scene.  Investigations are on going.
