Update on missing person Blathnaid Timothy investigation

Gardai have now located the taxi driver who picked up missing person Blathnaid Timothy on Sir John Rogerston's Quay Dublin 2 on the 14/12/2010. Gardai are satisfied that the last sighting of Blathnaid is on Harbour Road in Howth Village at 8.30pm on Tuesday the 14/12/2010.

Gardai are now appealing to any person who was in the Howth Village or Harbour area on Tuesday the 14/12/2010 from 8.30pm onwards that may have seen Blathnaid or seen a lone female who fits her description walking around to contact Gardai.

She is described as 5’6’’, with medium length dark brown hair; she is described as thin build with a pale complexion.  She is believed to have been wearing a ¾ length black wool jacket.

Investigating Gardai have to date recevied great assistance from Taxi Drivers, Taxi Unions and various Taxi Groups and from the public and media in general. This assistance is greatly appreciated.
