Gardaí at Blanchardstown are investigating a shooting incident that happened on Rusheeny Manor, Clonsilla, at approximately 9.15pm yesterday evening, Thursday, the 27th January 2011.
A 30 year old man was shot a number of times as he sat in his parked car and was taken to Connolly Memorial Hospital.
His condition is described as being stable.
A car was found burned out a short time later on Huntstown Avenue.
Gardaí are appealling for anyone who was in the Rusheeny Manor/Huntstown Avenue areas prior to the incident, or immediataly afterwards, to contact them at Blanchardstown on 01 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
