Robbery at Ulster Bank on Camden Street, Dublin on the 6/1/11

At approximately 11.30am this morning, Thursday 6th January 2011, 2 males walked into the Ulster Bank on Camden Street and threatened staff to hand over money.

They got away with an undisclosed amount of cash in a 07D registered Ford Fiesta.


This car was found abandoned a short time later near Portobello Bridge.


As part of a follow up investigation and searches two 41 year old men were arrested in the Rialto and Basin Street areas.  They are presently detained at Harcourt Terrace and Kevin Street Garda Stations under section 30 of The Offences Against The State Act.


To date no money has been recovered but investigations are continuing.
