Fatal stabbing at Rathmoylan, Meath on the 6/1/11

Gardai in Trim are investigating a stabbing incident at a house in Rathmolyon, Enfield, Co. Meath on the 6/1/11 following which a 25 year old male died.

Gardai were called to a private residence in Rathmolyon at approximately 1am where a 25 year male had received stab injuries.  The male was taken to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, where he subsequently died in the early hours of this morning.
 

Two males, a 29 year old and a 59 year old, were arrested at the scene and are currently being detained at Navan and Trim Garda Stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
 

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
