Fatal road traffic collision Co. Longford, 7th January 2011

Gardai at Granard are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Fostragh, Augnacliffe, Co Longford.

At approximately 820pm this evening a 50 year old male was fatally injured when the motor van he was travelling in collided with a ditch. 

The road remains closed pending a technical examination.
