A woman has been injured following a shooting incident at a house in Greenpark Road in Bray, Co.Wicklow.
The incident took place at about 7.30 p.m. on the 1st February 2011. The woman, who is in her late 40's, was injured in the lower back when a shot was fired through the window of a house. She was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent's Hospital, her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The scene of the incident is sealed off for a forensic examination and Gardai are investigating the shooting.
