Gardai at Ballinasloe are appealing for information regarding a black BMW 645 Series convertible, with possible registration 07 MO (number unknown) which was involved in a robbery which occurred at a filling Station on the Athlone Road at approx. 5.10am this morning, the 10th of February 2011.
The robbery occurred when a number of armed and masked males entered the premises and proceeded to threaten staff and customers. They consequently made their escape with an amount of cash . No-one was injured in the incident. The men then made their escape in the vehicle in the direction of the old Dublin Road.
