Fatal road traffic collicion at Bruff, Limerick on the 4/2/11

Gardaí at Bruff are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 4.15pm today (4/2/11).

The two car collision happened at Rockhill Cross, Bruee, Co. Limerick (N20). A one year old boy (passenger) in one of the cars has died as a result of this collision. The other occupants of the car, a female driver in her 20’s and 6 year girl were taken to the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick. Two male occupants of the other car were also taken to the Mid Western Regional Hospital where they are been treated for their injuries. 

The road is closed for a forensic collision examination but is expected to re-open shortly.
