Witness appeal - Security Van Robbery in Crumlin, Dublin on the 7/12/11

Gardai are appealing for witnesses following the robbery of a security van on Wednesday the 7th of December 2011.

The incident happened on Errigal Raod, Crumlin, Dublin 12 at about 4.40 pm.  A security van making a delivery to a Post Office was approached by a man armed with a handgun.  A cash box containing a quantity of cash was stolen and the raider made his getaway on a moped being driven by a second man. 
 

Gardaí are asking anyone who was in the area of Errigal Road between 4 pm and 5 pm last Wednesday -  the 7th December to contact them at Crumlin Garda Station on 01 666 6200.
