Drug seizure and man arrested in Co Wicklow on the 30/11/11

As part of an ongoing investigation Gardai from Bray carried out a search of an Industrial Unit near Delgany yesterday afternoon (30/11/2011).

During the search a substantial cannabis cultivation operation was discovered.  Approximately 1000 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of up to €400,000 (subject to analysis) were seized.

A man aged in his 30's was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Bray Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice ( Drug Trafficking ) Act 1996.
