Drug seizure and arrest in Liscarroll, Co. Cork on the 2/12/11

Gardai in Kanturk searched a house in Liscarroll yesterday, the 2nd of December 2011, during the course of the search Gardai discovered approx 33 kilos of cannabis resin and 2 kilos of cannabis herb with an approx value of €250,000 (subject to analysis).

This morning the 3rd December 2011 the Gardai arrested a male 23 years in connection with the seizure.  He is being detained in Bandon Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.
