Renewed appeal for information Re: Death of Eugenia Bratis on 5th August 2009

Gardaí at Cabra have renewed their appeal for information in relation to the death of Eugenia Bratis ( Romanian National) in the Phoenix Park, Dublin 8 on the 5th August 2009.

Eugenia’s body was discovered by two members of the public who were walking in a wooded area just off Military Road at 3.30pm on 5/8/09. To date only one of these men has come forward to assist investigating Gardaí. The 2nd witness is described as being 5’7” to 5’ 8”, bald and of average build, this man is believed to be in his late 60’s or early 70’s.

 

Two people have been arrested in connection with this investigation and to date the suspect has yet to be identified. Gardaí have carried out an extensive investigation and   in excess of 1000 lines of enquiry have been explored.

 

The main points of this renewed appeal are:

 

The second male (witness) who discovered Eugenia’s body is asked to contact the incident room at Cabra.  
For members of the Roma and Romanian Community who knew Eugenia or any person who may have information to contact Gardaí.
