Investigation following allegations and concerns regarding the welfare and protection of children in Cork - 31/8/11

An Garda Síochána have commenced an investigation following allegations and concerns regarding the welfare and protection of children who attended a boarding school in Carrig Na Bhfear in Cork.

Any person wishing to provide information or who wishes to report the commission of a  criminal offence can contact a dedicated telephone line (9am to 9pm) at the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Investigation Unit, National Bureau Of Criminal Investigation, Harcourt Square, Dublin 2.
