Gardai in Naas are investigating a Fatal Road Traffic Collision that occurred on the Naas to Clane Road at Sallins Village on the 1/8/11 at approximately 12.30am.
A male pedestrian in his 60’s was seriously injured when he was struck by a vehicle. He was taken to Naas General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The road has been sealed off pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardai would like to speak to the driver of a white van, no better described, that was seen in the Sallins Village area around the time of the incident ( between 12am and 1am) to contact them.
