Pipe bomb in Edgewothstown, Longford in February 2010 - Arrests

Gardai investigating the discovery of a pipe bomb in Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford in February 2010 have arrested three men.

One man was arrested in Dublin and two others were arrested in Co. Longford this morning, the 8th of September 2010.

The men are detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 at Longford and Roscommon Garda Station. One man is in his 20's, another in his 40's and the third in his 60's.

They can be detained for up to 72 hours.
