Fatal traffic collision Monaghan

Gardai in Newbliss, Co. Monaghan are investigating a two-vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Drumcaw, Newbliss at approximately 1.50pm today 4th September 2010.

A 25 year old man was pronounced dead at the scene after the motorcycle on which he was the sole occupant was involved in a collision with a van.

There were no other injuries in the collision.

The road has been re-opened following a technical examination.
