Fatal shooting at Portmarnock, Dublin on the 12/9/10 - Update

Gardai have released without charge all ten people held in relation to the fatal shooting of Sean Winters on the 12th September 2010.

 

Files will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí at Malahide are investigating a fatal shooting which occurred near the Portmarnock Dart Station at approx 10.20pm last night, the 12/9/10.

A man believed to be in his early 40’s was shot a number of times. The body remains at the scene and the scene is preserved pending a Garda forensic examination.<_o3a_p>

In a follow up operation ten people were arrested last night in <_st13a_place>North Dublin in connection with this investigation. Seven males and three females (ranging in ages from 56yrs to 24yrs) The ten persons arrested are detained under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act at various North Dublin Garda Stations.<_o3a_p>
