Drugs arrest Dublin

Gardaí from the Garda National Drugs Unit arrested a 35year old man in Dublin City Centre on Monday afternoon (20/9/10)

The man (A non Irish national) was detained under the provisions of Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Pearse Street Garda Station in relation to conspiring to import a controlled drug into the state.

This man is expected to appear before Court Number 3 at the Courts of Criminal Justice this morning (23/9/10)

Investigations are continuing.
