Fatal traffic collision Stillorgan

The male pedestrian injured when he was struck by a car at approximately 3.40am this morning on the N11, Stillorgan, at Blake’s Cross, was pronounced dead at approximately 8.30pm this evening - 23rd May 2010.

Gardai at Blackrock are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury Road Traffic Collision which occurred at approximately 3.40am this morning on the N11, Stillorgan, at Blake’s Cross.

A male pedestrian aged in his late 20s was seriously injured when he was struck by a motor car. He was taken by Ambulance to St Vincent’s Hospital where his condition is described as critical. The driver of the motor car was not injured.

Forensic Collision Investigators are currently at the scene. The northbound lanes of the N11, Stillorgan dual carriageway, are currently closed from Blake’s Cross to the Old Dublin Rd and traffic diversions are in place.
