Fatal Road Traffic Collision, Ashbourne, Co. Meath, 23rd May 2010.
Gardai at Ashbourne are investigating the circumstances of a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision, which occurred on a minor road at Ballyhack, Kilbrew, Ashbourne Co. Meath at approximately 0010hours this morning.
A 17 year old male passenger sustained serious injuries when the motor car he was travelling in collided with a ditch. He was taken by Ambulance to Our Lady’s Hospital Navan where he was pronounced dead. The driver and a second passenger, both male and aged in their late teens, were not injured.
The road is currently closed for technical examination and diversions are in place.
