Fatal road traffic collision at Ballyine, Carlow on the 17/5/10

Gardai in Borris are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Ballyine,(Borris to Ballymurphy Road) Borris, Co. Carlow at 12.45am this morning, 17th May 2010.

A man 68 yrs was injured when the car in which he was the sole occupant collided with a wall.

He was brought to St. Luke’s Hospital in Kilkenny where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

The road is being examined by a Forensic Collision investigator, the road has not been closed off.
