On the 24/3/10 at Templeogue Village, Dublin 6W, Gardaí located a stolen 4X4 (Black VW Touran) vehicle which was reported stolen on the 17/12/09 in Terenure.
During a search of this vehicle a rifle and ammunition were discovered. The items and the vehicle have been removed to Garda Headquarters for technical examination.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have seen this vehicle since it was reported stolen in December 2009 or who have information regarding its whereabouts to contact them at Terenure 01-666 6400, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
No arrests have been made at this stage and investigations are on-going.
