Gardai in Drogheda are investigating the circumstances of a stabbing incident which occurred at approx 10.20hrs on the 20th March 2010 in the town.
The incident occurred on West St outside St. Peter’s Church, Drogheda when a female (60yrs) received a number of stab injuries. She was treated at scene and conveyed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital where her condition is described as critical. A female 36 yrs was arrested at scene was conveyed to Drogheda Garda Station where she was detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended.
