Fatal fire in Athboy, Meath on the 17/3/10

Gardai in Athboy are investigating the circumstances of a fatal fire at a house on Connaught Street, Athboy on the 17th March 2010.

The fire was discovered by Gardai from Athboy when they observed fire and smoke coming from a building on Connaught St at approx 23.35hrs on the 17th March 2010. The Fire brigade attended the scene and the body of a male (47yrs) was discovered in the building. The scene has been preserved for a Technical examination.
