A male in his early 20s will appear in the Dublin District Court (No. 44 Chancery St.) at 4.30pm this afternoon (Saturday 24th July) in realation to the fatal stabbing on St. Cronan's Avenue on the 22nd July.

Gardai investigating the fatal stabbing that occurred at St. Cronans Avenue, Swords on the 22.07.10 have arrested a male in his early 20’s this morning (23.07.10) in connection with the incident.
He is currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Swords Garda Station.
Gardai wish to renew their appeal to anyone that was in the area of St. Cronans Avenue around the time of the incident or anyone that may have any information that can assist the Gardai to contact Swords Garda Station 0n 01- 6664700, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.

Gardai at Swords are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred at St. Cronans Avenue, Swords, Co. Dublin shortly after 9pm on the 22.07.10.
A 20 year old male was stabbed following an altercation and was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he later died.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination. A post mortem will be conducted later today.
