Murder investigation at Swords, Dublin on the 9/1/10

Gardai in Swords have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of the body of a male in a ditch at Dunbro Lane, Swords, Co. Dublin (lane off the main road at the back of Dublin Airport), this afternoon, the 9/1/10.

The scene has been sealed off and preserved for technical examination. The body has been removed to James Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown and a post-mortem is scheduled to take place tomorrow, the 10/1/10.
 

An incident room has been established in Swords Garda Station and Gardai are asking anyone who may have seen anything unusual or suspicious over the last number of days in or around Dunbro Lane to contact them at 01 666 4710.
 

Further information will be made available following the post-mortem tomorrow.
