The 44 year old man arrested yesterday the 13th of January 2010 at Shannon.
This is in relation to an incident on a flight from Amsterdam, is due to appear at a sitting of Ennis District Court at 1.00 p.m. on the 14th of January 2010, charged with an offence under Section 43 of the Air Navigation and Transport Act.

Gardaí at Shannon airport are investigating an incident which occurred on a flight from Amsterdam to Aruba this morning 13th January 2010. The flight was diverted to Shannon Airport and landed safely at 10.30 a.m.
A 44 year old Dutch national has been arrested under the Air Navigation and Transport Act and is currently detained under Section 4 of Criminal Justice Act at Shannon Garda Station.
Investigations are ongoing.
