Gardai are urging motorist to exercise caution on the roads, a number of areas have been hit with "BLACK ICE".

Motorists are particularly advised that black ice conditions can exist also exist on Motorways. They are requested to leave sufficient distance between the vehicle in front, reduce speed and overall exercise caution on our roads.
