Serious assault on Mountjoy Square, Dublin on the 13/2/10

A man was seriously injured as a result of an incident.

A 30 year old man seriously injured as a result of an incident which took place in an apartment on Mountjoy Square, Dublin 1, at approximately 11.30pm on the 13th February 2010, was pronounced dead in the Mater Hospital last night, 16th February 2010.
 

The Gardai in Fitzgibbon Street are investigating the incident.  A 27 year old man was arrested in relation to the incident. He was charged and remanded in custody.  He is due to appear before Dublin District Court on the 25th February 2010.
