At approx. 04.50hrs on the 18th Feb 2010 Gardai were called to a fire at the Tap public house at the junction of Church Street and North King Street.
Gardai in the Bridewell Garda station investigating the incident arrested a male (41yrs) on the evening of the 18th Feb 2010 he was brought to the Bridewell Garda station where he was detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended
On the 19th Feb 2010 he was charged and kept in custody to appear before Dublin District Ct, Parkgate St on Saturday the 20th Feb 2010.
Dublin Fire Brigade was quickly on the scene.
There was minor damage caused to the premises.
