Fatal Road Traffic collision - victim named.

Gardai have named a man fatally injured in a collision on the M1 Co. Louth on the 5.2.2010 as Adrian Durr from Banbridge, Co. Down.

Gardai at Ardee are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the M1 near Castlebellingham on 5/2/10.

The collision occurred at  approximately 8.50pm when a pedestrian was struck by a motor car on the north bound carriageway of the M1 in the towns land of Commons near Castlebellingham, Co. Louth.  The pedestrian a man aged 37 years died at the scene.

The scene has been examined by Forensic Collision Investigators and the motor way has since re-opened to traffic.
