Following an operation carried out by the Garda North Central Divisional Drug Unit attached to Store Street Garda Station, a flat on Dorset Street, Dublin 1 was searched at approximately 2pm today, Wednesday, the 17th February 2010.
During the course of this search Heroin with a street value of €75,000 (subject to analysis) was recovered and two men (31 yrs & 42 yrs) were arrested.
The drugs have been removed to the Garda Technical Bureau for examination.
Both men are detained at Store Street Garda Station under Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug trafficking) Act 1996.
Investigations are continuing.
