Cash in transit robbery at Ratoath, Meath on the 1/2/10

Gardai in Ashbourne are investigating a robbery from a cash in transit van at Ratoath, Co. Meath, on the 1st February 2010.

At approximately 8.30am two males, both believed to be armed, held up security men as they serviced an ATM machine at a shopping centre in Ratoath Village. The men escaped with a quantity of cash.

Gardai are appealing for anyone who observed a white Peugeot Partner Van in the vicinity of Ratoath Village prior to 830am on 1/2/10 to contact them.

There we no injuries during the course of the robbery and enquiries are ongoing.
