Cash in transit robbery at Finglas, Dublin on the 1/2/10

Gardai are investigating a robbery from a security man who was in the process of collecting cash from a shop at Century Business Park, Meakstown, Dublin 11, at about 2pm on the 1st of February 2010.

Two men attacked the employee of a cash in transit company with what is believed to be a crow bar and grabbed a cash box. They made their escape on foot towards the Charlestown estate. One of the males was tall and thin, and wearing an orange rain jacket with grey tracksuit bottoms. The second man, was smaller, about 5.9'', and was wearing a dark jacket, a grey cap and dark trousers.

Gardaí in Finglas are investigating the robbery and are appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact them on 01 666 7500.
