Theft of copper wire in Carlow on the 14/8/10

Gardaí in the South East investigating recent burglaries involving the theft of large quantities of copper wire have arrested two men in Carlow.

The men aged 23 yrs and 28 yrs were arrested on Saturday, the 14th August 2010 and   detained under the provisions of Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984.  They were released without charge and are expected to appear before Carlow District Court on 22nd September 2010.
 

No property has been recovered and investigations are ongoing.
