Seizure of cannabis plants in Nenagh, Tipperary on the 19/8/10

Gardai in Nenagh have arrested a male and seized cannabis plants following a planned search at an apartment in Nenagh on the 19/8/10 at approximately 1pm.

Cannabis plants in various stages of growth with an estimated street value of up to €32,000, subject to analysis, were discovered during the search.  Growing equipment was also found.  A male in his 50’s was arrested at scene and is currently detained at Nenagh Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
