Garda search operation into criminal activity on the 4/8/10

On Wednesday, the 4th August 2010 a search operation was conducted in Counties of Dublin, Tipperary, Offaly and Kerry targeting individuals involved in the Limerick gang feuds.

A total of 12 searches were conducted and included searches of private residences, commercial premises and professional offices.

The search operation was conducted by members of the Criminal Assets Bureau, Detective Gardai from Birr, Roscrea, Nenagh and Tipperary Town Garda Stations, the Regional Support Unit based in Mullingar Garda Station, The Garda Dog Unit and members of the Divisional Crime Task Force DMR West.

During the course of the searches €38,000 in cash was seized along with a large amount of documentary evidence and computers.

No arrests were made and investigations are ongoing.
