Gardai at Milford are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the outskirts of Milford on the Kilmacrenan Road at approximately 2.20am on the 11/8/10.
The 51 year old female driver of one of the cars was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. A male in his 50’s, who was the passenger in the car, was taken to Letterkenny Hospital and is described as being in a serious condition. The driver and the passenger of the second vehicle, a male and female, were taken to Letterkenny General Hospital and are described as being in a serious condition.
The road is currently closed for an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.
