Drug seizure and arrests at Ballyboughal, Dublin on the 11/8/10

As a result of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs, herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €1.2million has been seized.

Gardaí from the National Drugs Unit supported by the Organised Crime Unit carried out a search in Ballyboughal, Co. Dublin at approximately 7.45pm last night (11/8/10) herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €1.2million (subject to analysis) was seized and three men arrested (44 yrs, 28 yrs & 24 yrs)

All three are detained under Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking Act) Act 1996. Two of the men are being detained at Ballymun Garda Station and the third at Finglas Garda Station.

Investigations are continuing.
