Gardai have named the victim of a crash near Nenagh, on the 15th of March 2009, as 28 year old Raymond Larkin of Carrig, Birr, Co.Offaly

Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 3.15pm this afternoon on the N7 - 2 kms the Nenagh side of Roscrea.
A male motorcyclist in his early 20's was fatally injured when his motorbike was in collision with a car.
The road is closed at present (both directions) pending a forensic crash scene investigation.
As this collision occurred on a main route motorists are advised to expect delays and to use an alternative route if possible.
Gardaí are at scene and diversions are in place.
