Incident in which a shot was fired in Corduff, Dublin on the 5/12/09

Gardai in Blanchardstown have arrested 3 people as part of an investigation into an incident in which a shot was fired through the window of a house in Sheephill Avenue, Corduff, Dublin.

The incident occurred at approximately 3.40am yesterday morning, the 5th December 2009.  There was 1 person (a female) in the house at the time but no-one was injured.


Gardai responding to the incident stopped a car on the Blakestown Road shortly after the incident and arrested the female and 2 male occupants of the car.  The three people (all 19 years of age) are currently being detained in Blanchardstown Garda Station.


Gardai recovered a sawn-off shotgun in the course of a follow up search of an open area in Mulhuddart.
