Fatal shooting incident at Lealand Close, Clondalkin on the 7/8/09

Shortly after the shooting a grey BMW motor car was found at Lindisfarne Park and this car is preserved for technical examination.

 

Gardai are investigating a shooting incident at Lealand Close, Clondalkin, which occurred at 9.50p.m. on Friday, the 7th August 2009.  A 25 year old man was shot a number of times in the head outside a house.

 

The man, who is from the area, was taken to Tallaght Hospital where he later died.

 

The scene of the shooting is preserved for forsensic technical examination.

 

Shortly after the shooting a grey BMW motor car was found at Lindisfarne Park and this car is also preserved for technical examination.  An attempt had been made to set the car on fire.
