Fatal road traffic collision at the "The Heath", Laois on the 15/4/09

Gardai at Portlaoise, Co. Laois are investigating a single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at "The Heath" on the M7.

Gardai at Portlaoise, Co. Laois are investigating a single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 2.15pm today (15/4/09).

The collision occurred at "The Heath" on the M7 when a car left the road.

The male driver in his 60's was fatally injured and a female passenger seriously injured, (only occupants).

The scene of the collision was examined by Garda forensic collision investigators.
