Fatal road traffic collision at Ongar, Blanchardstown, Dublin on the 12/4/09

The crash happened at a roundabout on the Ongar Distribution Road near Blanchradstown, Dublin 15.

 

Gardai at Blanchardstown Garda station are investigating a fatal road traffic collision, which occurred on the 12th of April 2009 at about 2.20 am.  The single vehicle crash resulted in the death of one man.  The car involved is believed to have been stolen in February 2009, near Johnstown, Co. Meath.  The car was not being pursued by Gardai when it crashed.

The crash happened at a roundabout on the Ongar Distribution Road near Blanchradstown, Dublin 15.  The 24 year old  driver of the car was fatally injured in the crash, his body was removed to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, where a post mortem examination will be carried out.

Two other men, also in their 20's, were arrested near the scene and are detained at Blanchardstown Garda station.
