Fatal road traffic collision at Navan, Meath on the 7/6/08.

Gardai are investigating a fatal road traffic collision, which occurred on Boyne Road, Navan, Co Meath.

 

Gardai are investigating a fatal road traffic collision, which occurred on the 7th of June 2008 at Boyne Road, Navan, Co Meath.   

At around 11.15 p.m. a car left the road and entered the canal which runs beside the river Boyne. 

One of the occupants of the car, a female in he 20's, freed herself and raised the alarm. 

A second woman aged 20 years was taken from the car, but was pronounced dead on arrival at Navan general Hospital. 

There was no other vehicle involved in the crash.
