Gardai at Bruff, Co Limerick are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at 12.20pm today (14/8/08).
A car and a lorry were in collision at Carraturk, Ballylanders, Co Limerick. The driver and passenger in the car have both received fatal injuries (male 60yrs / female 59) Their bodies have been removed to Midwest Regional Hospital in Limerick.
The road remains closed pending a Garda technical examination. The Gardai at Bruff are also investigating another fatal road traffic collision which occurred at 2.25am yesterday morning (13/8/08).
The single vehicle collision occurred at Camass, Bruff, Co Limerick.
The 19yr old female driver (Only occupant) was taken to the Midwest Regional Hospital, Limerick where she died as a result of her injuries this morning (14/8/08).
