Death of male in Cork on the 19/8/08 - and updates

Gardai at Macroom, Co. Cork, are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the death of a 65 year old male on arrival at Cork University Hospital on the 19/8/08 .

 

The three men being detained at Bandon Garda Station in relation to the death of a 65 year old man at Mount Rivers on 19th August 2008 (Previous releases below refers) have been released without charge. 

A file in relation to the incident is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí at Macroom investigating the death of a 65 year old man at Mount Rivers on 19th August 2008 made 3 arrests early this morning. 

The arrests have been made in relation to a serious assault that occurred on the deceased and another man prior to his death. 

All 3 are detained under section 4 of the criminal justice act at Bandon Garda Station.  One is aged 56 years and the other 2 are 23 years of age.

Gardai at Macroom, Co. Cork, are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the death of a 65 year old male on arrival at Cork University Hospital late this afternoon.

This followed an earlier incident at Mount Rivers, Ryland, Co. Cork which resulted in the male being brought to Hospital by ambulance. A post mortem is scheduled to take place tomorrow morning at Cork University Hospital.
