Garda at Pearse Street Garda station are seeking witnesses to a number of assaults which occurred on D'Olier Street and Fleet Street Dublin 2.
Gardaí have arrested 2 males in relation to the above investigation. They are aged 22 and 25 years and are presently detained under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Pearse Street and Harcourt Terrace Garda Stations.
The arrests were made this morning in the Ballyfermot and Palmerstown areas of Dublin.

Garda at Pearse Street Garda station are seeking witnesses to a number of assaults which occurred on D'Olier Street and Fleet Street Dublin 2, between 2.30 am and 3.00 am on the 19th of April 2008. In three separate incidents people received knife wounds to the face.
Due to the proximity of the assaults and the nature of the injuries Gardai believe the same person or persons were involved.
The injured parties were all males in their late teen or twenties.
Gardai from Pearse Street Garda Station are investigating the incidents.
Gardai would like anyone who was in the D'Olier Street/Westmoreland Street and Fleet Street/Temple Bar areas between 2.30a.m. and 3.00 a.m. on Saturday morning, the 19th of April, or any taxi driver who picked up two males in the Temple Bar area or anyone who has information about these assaults to contact Pearse Street Garda Station at 01 666 9000 or any Garda Station.
