St. Patricks Day Parade Information Galway

  1. Tuam Parade takes place at 2pm – It will travel from O’Toole road, Bridge Street, Shop Street, Bishop Street and onto the Square where there will be a review stand. It will then continue on up Bishop Street and finish in the car park on Bishop Street. The parade should take 45mins. The Town Centre will be closed to Traffic from approximately 1pm to 4pm.#
  2. Glenadmaddy Parade will take place at 12.30pm. It will travel on the Creggs’ road, then into the Square, left out the Kilkerrin road, turn left at Henaghans and go back to the Square and out the Dunmore road.
  3. Williamstown Parade will take place at 2.30pm. It will travel through Main Street, Williamstown – Minimal Disruption to Traffic.
  4. Clonberne Parade will take place in Clonberne at 5pm. It starts at Clonberne Church and finishes at Clonberne Community Centre. – Minimal Disruption to Traffic
  5. Abbeyknockmoy Parade will take place at 1pm. It will begin outside Mannions pub on the main road N63. It will continue through the village onto the Community centre. The duration of the parade will be 30-40mins long and traffic disruptions are expected during this period.
  6. Dunmore Parade will take place at 12.30pm. The National School is the starting point and it will finish at Barrack Street. The parade will take 30 – 40 mins long.
  7. Headford Parade will take place at 12.45pm. It will start at Headford GAA pitch. It will travel up Main Street before finishing at Monaghans Garage. The Main Street will be closed to traffic from 12.30pm. Headford GAA car park and Headford Mart are being utilised for vehicles that wish to park up and wait until the road re-opens. The parade will take 30 – 40 mins.
